ToT - Quality of Life - Spectating

First off I wanted to say that so far my experience with ToT has been great, and a refreshing way to play eso. However I feel there is a big missed opportunity with this game, When you enter a tot match your character and your opponents character will disappear from the world which works out when you’re entering a queue with a random player, but when inviting a player next to you, it seems off. I think a system similar to scrying would be cool (when scrying your character kneels down and has tools and a mat in-front of them) With this you and your opponent could sit at a mat across from e/o and adventures passing by could enter a spectator mode where you are able to view the match in real time. This would open the door of opportunity to host events in game amongst guilds and players, for example on Xbox we have dueling tournaments hosted by the community every so often and I think it’d be cool to have ToT events where people can get together etc.

(Edit) I’ve just found that by typing in /tot in your chat box your character does a emote that resembles playing tales of tribute?

It would be nice, but they can't even make sure both players enter the game 100% of the time so they might add the spectator option in the next decade.

This would be nice for matches where the players held F next to each other to challenge, like you mentioned. Especially the spectator idea. I would be awesome if it was implemented that way.

It's nice that it phases your character into the void for queue matches/long-distance ones, because I accidentally accepted a match at a dolmen last night. When I finished the game, not being dead was a nice surprise.

Excavation sites differ. Theirs locations were carefully selected to avoid aggro from the nearby mobs.
If you accept the game invite at random place, there are great chances you found your toon dead, as game normally lasts for 6 .. 15 minutes and anything can happen in the location during that time. So, removing players character saves one gear repair, i am OKay with this.

edit: the exclusion like not removing players when they compete at the cards table in someone's house should be nice, though
