I've been playing other players for hours tonight and I haven't had to wait more than a minute for a game. I'm absolutely loving playing Tales of Tribute. It's a wonderful addition to ESO and has breathed a breath of fresh air into the taverns. Thanks guys!

✭✭Unless zos fixes the RNG so it dosn't consistnatly screw over people regardless of their skill ToT will only be populated by a small group of elite players, which will crush anybody new coming in to try ToT for the first time, which inturn would drive them away, which appears to be a process which is already starting to take place as the queue times for matches have gone from almost instant to 2-4 mins
and for those of you who read the above and insist that rng isn't a major factor in tot, read the spoiler to get my pov on itWas having fun with it winning and losing matches at a roughly 1:1 ratio and then something changed since the patch on monday I have not been able to win a single game of ToT, even agsaint the NPCs due to the fact that my RNG being consistnatly super bad to the point where with a few minor variations every single one of the 83 matches i've played and lost this week (73 player, 10 NPC) ones they have consistantly gone in one of four ways
1: the tavern is full of cards which range from unusable to meh, I buy one of the meh ones, it gets replaced with a good one I can't afford, enemy takes it, it gets replaced with another meh tier one
2: tavern is full of cards, enemy buys a meh one, gets replaced with a good one they can afford, they buy it, it gets replaced with a meh one or one I have no hope in hell of affording for at least two turns, and they buy it next turn
3: enemy goes first and first draw contains one of those cards, ya know, siege weapons, armory, crow pool thing, they buy it, get replaced with a unusable card, then it goes to situtation 1 or 2
4: I go first and the tavern draw is 6 coins for something that isn't potato, so I coin up, and then the oppent buys it, and it's situtation 1 or 2Edited by notyuu on 26 June 2022 19:432 -
