Just to clarify here, Zeal of Zenithar is the next event. That is currently not going to rotate. However, we will pass feedback for future consideration on ordering of events.

Any update on the weekend PVP events we were promised this year, in replacement of the PVP content we were told would not come?

I'm happy we finally have news on when it's starting, but it's just upsetting we're only just getting it this late, especially that the event has rewards based on playing with players in your guilds, so it takes time to coordinate groups for such events.
But thank you for a date. It is appriciated.

They were very clearly waiting until they were certain the Console update launched smoothly before announcing the start date. And, as they normally announce on Thursdays, this was the first day they could possibly announce the event, after the Console patch release on Tuesday, in keeping with their normal cadence of announcing events.
Well because the event didn't exist on May 26th. The art assets, event quests, Indrick Vendor System, the Companion Guild Commendation system, or the Event Celebration Ground in Belkarth were not in the game files at that time.I can't understand why this event wasn't hosted on May 26, right before the chapter launch. The 2 week gap between PC and console release was obviously going to make pretty much the whole month of June off-limits for any event.
That's just poor planning. All of these things were planned several months ago and could be implemented through a smaller incremental patch. That's the industry standard.CyberOnEso wrote: »Well because the art assets, Indrick Vendor System and the Companion Guild Commendation system were not in the game at that time.
Additionally, the Event Celebration Ground in Belkarth was not present in the game files yet. And the event had not been tested on the PTS before the High Isle PTS.
The event requires the assets included with the High Isle patch to work. They can't just launch events without the assets in the game.
ZOS does 4 releases a year and they keep strictly to that, for very good reason. Their entire studio works around those 4 releases. That's just poor planning. Ofc they were waiting for the updates to console I understand and appriciate that. However a bit of communication would go a long way for a lot of us players. A simple date isn't hard for them to offer us, in the past we've had 2 months notice for a few events, we've had a few were they've been a weeks notice, but like I said a date isn't hard to communicate to us when they're telling us a June event - just seems bad marketing. Just my 2 cents, I'm not claiming to be a developer of games, being in the know or a marketer etc. Just wish we could actually have dates ahead of time for us full timer workers. 🤷♀️
