On sudden win, no reward

So I just played a full match of tribute and on the last round where I would have won 40+ to 20 something the opposite player just disconnected without finishing his round. That resulted in my sudden win without the other player finishing his round and in return I got no tribute points, nor placement match wins. This system should be overworked. If someone force quits or disconnects after a certain time playing the game the winner should still get their rewards.
It is annoying to play a full match and not getting it counted.

Other player quit on last hand when they would lost game and it did not count as a win for daily.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭i think the other player dropped, as a form of concession, but the system doesnt have a way to differentiate that from a true quit or disconnect yet
an option to concede might make sense instead of playing out a full turn if you know there is no possible way you can catch up and winplays PC/NA

✭✭✭✭✭Obviously a disconnect or forfeit should count as the opponent winning. It's ridiculous that the losing player can remove the reward from the winner at any point in a game, much less at 95%. Once someone realizes they are going to lose they have no incentive to stay until the opponent hits 40, and instead can just spite the player that beat them.
What problem were the devs even trying to solve? Were they worried that players were going to mass resign and give opponents the reward? It could happen, because ToT is a long and boring game, but I wouldn't expect the devs to admit that. Even if they did, shouldn't the solution be making a fun game, instead of holding players hostage until the end?3 -

✭I noticed that it started to happen a lot yesterday and today. Many players just resign or leave as soon as they are losing the game, it displays information as if I won it, but if fact it doesn't count for anything. Not even for the Dueling Tributes daily quest, and I only play ranked. This problem is destroying the game very fast. Today I played tho the end a lot of games that I lost and very few that I was winning. It's frustrating.0 -

I have been consistently getting rank points when an opponent concedes but I have not gotten any daily progress when it happens.0 -

✭I almost quit by accident when I was trying to figure out how to unselect a card. If you hit escape it will not unselect the card, it brings up the option to leave the game. If you want to unselect a card just click it a second time.Proud member of the Psijic Order - The first wave - The 0.016%0 -

✭This really needs to be fixed urgently. I've been playing ToT right now for almost 3 hours, trying to complete the daily, I already won more than 10 games but since all players decided to resign at some point when losing. Every single player that I played with did that. The funny thing is that one of those players started a game with me again in a few seconds after he resign and looks like he didn't had any time penalty. This this is completely ruining the game. Zos is being awful with this mess.

✭Oh... so that's what happened 😞 I started playing today and I was quietly thrilled to be on 39 - 13 after a string of defeats and then everything froze up and I found myself booted back to where I was before queueing for the match. Of course, I suppose they could have disconnected at a convenient time..

✭✭✭✭✭I was playing a ranked match earlier today and was winning noticeably. Randomly them I was pushed into a load screen and then into Character Select.....
It counted as a loss.

Serenez✭✭✭I just had an issue when joining a ranked game - it loaded as blank. I then had to concede to exit the window. After my 'penalty' for the bugged screen, I then joined another ranked game and was on the second turn. Unfortunately this was when my internet decided to drop - so I got an immediate log out of ESO error back to character screen. When logging in again I got another penalty lol.
I apologize to whoever I was playing against the second game as we were on our second turn - when my net clipped. This was not intentional as I would always be respectful and play a game all the way through.
