How to record video of gameplay for YouTub

I submitted a ticket for a problem I am having with my game on PS4. The trouble ticket requested me to "uploaded the video to youtube and replying back with the link".
How do I record a video of me playing the game to upload?

PS forums, if they have them would be the better place overall to ask about PS-specific questions. A larger pool of players would know are there.

If you click the SHARE button, it will allow you to save recent gameplay automatically. I think the default was 15 minutes, but it can save up to an hour if you change it via settings. You can then go into your saved clips/gallery, and click either SHARE OR OPTIONS, (I forgot which), on the selected clip. It will then allow you to upload it to YouTube.
