5 Minutes Between Login Attempts?

I fail to login to PC NA due to "maintenance" (contrary to the thread here) and I can't even try PC EU for 5 minutes, which does not have the "maintenance" popup showing.
Please clear the wait when switching servers!

You can close the game and restart. The server was up for about an hour, which is when the thread was started.
There was then emergency maintenance.
Server status changed and the correct current status can be seen at the top of the forums.GM - Ghost Sea Trading Co - NA PC

It is a bug. PC EU was running fine and the wait was not necessary.
This has been raised before, but it clearly didn't make the "fix it" list.
I can see delaying attempts on the same server, but that should not apply if you switch servers!PC
