A way to say GG at match conclusion?

Hi y'all! I initially had doubts about this new card game feature, but I've been pleasantly surprised with how interesting and strategic it's turned out to be, like others have expressed. It's very refreshing compared to the general gameplay loop ESO has had in the past few years.

And although it's been pretty fun, it feels like something's missing: a way to show good sportsmanship at the end of a match. Sure, you could just whisper your opponent "gg" but that might be unwelcome or not reciprocated at all. Something that might be more successful would be exhanging pre-determined responses, and offering a small incentive for doing it.

With all the empty space on the victory/defeat screen, it feels as though that could easily be filled out more (at least for a prestige victory, a patron victory manages to use the whole bottom of the screen). One idea would be to have a couple buttons for responses to exchange, like "Good match!" or "Well played." as well as maybe a little handshake graphic upon both players sharing responses successfully.

As for incentives, why not a few extra gold in the match completion goodie bag (both winner and loser bags) for those who choose to use a response? Or even a crumb of bonus rating points (like +1) if it was a ranked match. Obviously not anything large enough to make a pivotal difference, but something that rewards players for good sportsmanship would feel genuinely worthwhile.

What do y'all think? Should there be a more formal in-game way of saying GG at the end of each match?

Yeah, I'd be up for that. Sometimes it's nice to use the chat but it's easy to forget and sometimes you might not always feel like it, plus that would be easier.

Have to say the game is addictive, hard to master as they say.

I agree, something similar to the way that standalone Gwent lets you click a GG button, and that's it. Little tiny bonus, no big deal.

You can always remember their nick and whisper them afterwards. I got whispered like that, it was nice.
But yeah, I agree that's a temporary solution and unlocking the chat at the final score screen would be nice.

    EDIT:
As other gimmicks go, how about just showing our characters doing something like this?
