Ranged DPS

Bleh....so sometimes my guild needs a purely ranged DPS. I made an Orc Vampire NB (originally for PvP, which is currently horrible), but as I tend to dual purpose my characters, I was attempting to get this one to range dps. Looked at some alqast builds as a starting point and settled on one (Focus), but for the life of me I can't get this thing to past 20K dps. I don't have point blank snipe, and to be honest it doesn't seem to make a lotta sense as the point is to be ranged. Any hints on getting ranged dps past 20K? I realize they won't be as good as melee, but I wasn't expecting a 40K drop from my main. Thank you!

I'll try to help out here.
Can you post your gear and bar setups? If you have a video of you going to town on a target dummy, that'll tell me a lot too. Also, what mundus? Food? CP allotment?

MudcrabAttack✭✭✭✭✭the focus build looks kind of outdated
Swap leeching strikes for twisting path, it’s tons of damage, you don’t want to miss out on it
Use dark shade, not sure how the other morph is good in pve
I prefer Meteor over ballista, it’s aoe too and procs flame status
Since you want to be ranged, I’d drop mirage, move a skill like twisting path onto the back bar and use camouflage hunter on the front bar, healers won’t be giving combat prayer to ranged people so it’s like do-it-yourself minor berserk
I never use point blank snipe, usually I’d go with tzogvin bow, slimecraw shoulder/ kilt, or slot a black rose bow on the front if you’re really trying to raise single target damageEdited by MudcrabAttack on 5 May 2022 23:270 -

✭And the parse....trying to make this a pure ranged for certain trials. I know my weave stunk, but eh...40K. As I can't change Barbed Trap to the ranged one (due to needing this for another build), I'm thinking of going with Caltops. Thanks all!
