My experience has been that support will not reply. But maybe that's unusual, despite what I've seen here. It could be selection bias, that those with issues post more often. Especially since the forum requires a support request to join, so there may be a smaller population here. That may be some form of good customer service that I am unable to understand.

I would suggest you close the launcher, and re-open it. Try again. Repeat. Based on reports from other users, this is the only fix I've heard of so far.

If you get an official answer, please do post it. I'd love to know what the official fix is.

I have had the same issues you're reporting. Multiple of my friends have. I told you the only thing that has worked for any of us. I wish I could help more.

Good. I'm glad they're on top of it. People have been asking for that for a while, one way or another and I'm very happy to see it's happening.

My original post had three factual points with the bewilderment of what to do and a Sheesh in there for good measure (gotta keep it human, you know?) None of the original post was edited. All snips occurred thereafter and anything snipped was neither on topic NOR necessary for discussion purposes. As I said, I'm glad they're on top of it.

I've not seen the issue of a missing version/can't repair posted anywhere else. I've seen reports of repairs needed, that's it. It may be on me for not having looked a little harder so I could tack my first post somewhere else. I was never worried that ZoS would reply, rather hoping that someone else could tell me what worked for them. Regrettably, things did not go as planned.
