Change the light attack animations to something more realistic.

This game suffers from very floaty over the top animations which consequently leads to things like animation cancelling. The combat also puts off a lot of players from what I have heard
.
The player character by the looks of it is a terrible swordsman throwing the sword around in wide arcs with no footwork. We need animations that feel better, tighter, with momentum that can move into the next ability without getting the unnatural changing of direction mid attack that animation cancelling has.

    The animations for the longest time have been so comically bad I just assume everyone running around in the world is an idiot. Don't even get me started on the sword and shield animations as I know both Skal and Shad would absolutely have a field day going over just how bad it is. Not even the sword work but the fact they don't keep themselves covered with the shield.

    Yeah...animations need a rework.(And if we do get it, it might do away with animation canceling!) I understand that we're in a fantasy setting, and as such, you've room to allow your animations to be a bit flashy,(And how flashy you can get away with is also based on how 'anime' your fantasy setting is) but some of ESO's animations look outright DUMB.(I'm looking at you Wrecking Blow/Dizzying Swing. >.>) I will give some credit though, melee light and heavy attacks have two states, when they hit, or miss/swing at nothing. The concept is great!....but both aren't implemented well. Strikes on hit are floaty and don't seem to have much weight on them, and the strikes on miss...? Oh boy..the biggest thing I hate about those is a lot of strikes that hit nothing have your character LOOK IN THE DIRECTION OF THEIR SWING..and I could go on and on about why that's a bad idea to do in a fight if you miss a hit.
