Can't join Guilds

Thank you, the "fix" worked for me!
Only problem I had after joining the fifth guild was, that I couldn't change the colours of the guild channels (doesn't matter, which one).
After deactivating old addons, it worked.

Same issue here - Have 4 slots, Cant get invites. Cant invite to my own guild either. Fixxxxxx thisssss!

Still an ongoing, extremely annoying, issue on PS4 EU. Can't invite about 1 in 5 people due to this bug. Is there a fix for consoles coming?

@ZOS_GinaBruno [PS4 EU], just sent out 8 guild invites, only two of which could be accepted. Is the fix that is out for PC coming to the PS4 anytime soon??

This is still an issue on Xbox One.

Will this be fixed as part of the load screen patch on December 4th?

Someone I met earlier today had the issue... He had pending guild invites that he cleared out and it allowed him to accept mine as his fifth.

I am currently experiencing the exact same issue described in this very old thread.

I searched for a solution within the forums and this is the first thread that popped up.

I have raised a ticked and carried out the suggested solutions, with no resolution, I am still unable to join a 5th guild and keep receiving the message "You are unable to apply to this guild as you are already in the maximum number of guilds allowed".

I am not, I am in 4 guilds and have no pending invites or applications.

This is extremely frustrating and I hope Zos correct this bug that seems to have returned (if it ever went away), asap.

Support got back to me after I had attempted their solutions with no resolution and asked me various questions about my guilds and guild history, which I answered.

However randomly, someone sent me a guild invite shortly after this and it therefore appeared in the pending section (there were no pending applications or invites before this). I declined and... I was then able to apply to and get accepted into another 5th guild.

So no idea why this is buggy but clearly it is. I am just thankful it got resolved kinda by itself.

ps, oh and I also got a reply from support after I answered their questions, which completely ignored my questions and just gave me the standard solutions to try that they had already given me. I suspect the member of staff just didnt read what I was actually saying and just copy pasted standard text, which is pretty poor form. But whatevs, they were all polite and trying to help.

So I guess ill have to revive this thread once again. I have been having the same issue for a while. I have 4 active guilds, but when i try to apply for a 5th guild it says that I cannot do that because all of my guild slots are full. I have no pending guild applications and i did not have a fifth guild for over 6 months. I have tried restarting the game, reloading UI, disabling all of my addons, running repair from my launcher and even reinstalling the game on a different computer, but nothing helped.

I have submitted both an in game bug report and a bug report ticket via the official elder scrolls online website. It has been several days, but I have not received any messages yet. I've also attached screenshots showing that I indeed do not have a 5th guild, and no I do not have any pending invitations.

My ticket number is: Incident: 220216-002947 . Can any moderator @ZOS_GinaBruno help me out?

Bug reports do not get any response, as the acknowledgment message says in game.

Can you file a help ticket instead?
