Wasn't there some big move where ZOS decreed that procs shouldn't proc procs? Or did I dream that?
Has the position changed? Because if so, let's get it back all the way where siege procs everything too.

i think when they meant that, they meant it coming from the same player

so they dont want you having 3 dmg procs that can proc each other continuously due to how their cooldowns work

curse eater is purging an effect, if it purges plaguebreak, plaguebreak gonna do its thing because the effect was purged, but you were not the one casting plaguebreak, it was an effect afflicted upon you, so it doesnt fall under the same rules as procs procing procs

i do agree that it would make siege more relevant if it triggered procs lol
    plays PC/NA
    handle @Necrotech_Master
    active player since april 2014

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

As a fellow XBox NA DC player I'm going out on a limb that this question ultimately comes down to frustration with a certain troll using the Curse Eater set to Plague-bomb "allies" on DC. Allies is in quotes because this particular person plays multiple XBoxes and multiple accounts, on EP (main) and DC (Curse Eater troll).

To fix this mechanically, ZOS could just adjust all purging to function like the Purge skill, affecting grouped allies only. Or adjust Plaguebreak burst to only proc on death. I don't know how they let this set go live with such an obvious way for trolls to ruin fights with it.

More about just shoddy design. There could be lots of people trolling, I can't know because ZOS created a condition where allies can kill allies and seems to be doing nothing to fix it.
