Not a lot of context to go on. If you have a massive crit damage modifier, the extra crit from the precise will obv be worth alot more. If you're a dk trogging round in heavy armor with 50% crit damage and malacath on, I'm gonna say the extra procs on burning and other status effects + the ability to switch a sustain glyph to a spell dmg glyph is probably going to be better....
It won’t make a significant difference either way. At this point you are min/maxing. Singe you are running deadly strikes that would boost the burning procs which you would get from your charged dagger. Weigh that against the extra crit and you are probably talking 1-2K difference. For what it’s worth I run nirn poison and charged flame daggers with the same gear setup and parse 101K. In content Magplar is an AOE death machine and tears through mobs no matter how you set it up. I was actually still running acuity when this patch dropped and was performing maybe about 3-4% lower than deadly with nirn/precise hitting roughly 97K but had a stronger burst. I definitely prefer deadly though.
What everest said. Personally, with that set up, I'd guess - but only guess - that the crit would do you more favours. Magdks obviously do well out of charged because their abilities are all flame giving them high uptime on burning, the more damaging status effect, plus alot of sustain from the combustion passive.
A magplar though, if you're running a fire glyph, you'll get a bit more burning, but most of their damage is magical. I don't have numbers, but I didn't think overcharged was that strong a status effect. I think it was described as "Magic Damage has a chance to apply Overcharged. It deals minor damage and applies Minor Magickasteal for 4 seconds."
