Really curious if DKs technically are related to Dragonborns (people with blood and soul of a dragon).
How is a DK (or any class for that matter) made? Are these powers gifted from the Divines like how Akatosh can bless an individual to have dragon blood?

✭✭✭✭✭It's not entirely settled that Dragonknights are using ordinary magic like any other. The Thu'um has been compared to the Akaviri kiai, which in turn is likely an immitation of the Thu'um if Dragons indeed come from Akavir. We still know too little about the Akaviri to rule out the possibility that their martial arts can bend reality the same way (but different) the Thu'um and tonal magic of the Dwemer do. So while their powers are not the same as the Thu'um they might be vaguely related - both being voice-based powers that don't use magicka the way spells do (in the lore, but ingame they obviously do for balance reasons).
All we know for certain is that it comes from the Akaviri.This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.1 -
