-very slow 600-1000+++ latency
-Already opened/forwarded the ports
-restarts etc
-traceroute stops at 72.52.2.178 (akamai?)
EU Servers don't have a problem
FFXIV, NW, BDO IP address don't have a problem pinging.

I am very familiar with the server traceroutes.
Yes, that is where the Akamai routing starts. NA uses Akamai for DDoS protection. (formerly called Prolexic Technologies) You will get no ping or traceroute from that point on.
EU does not have this, so you can traceroute right to the server front door.0
