I guess everyone will just cure themselves and pretend like they didn't skull **** everyone in cyrodiil for a month and a half (personal estimate on when they'll adjust them).

I was speaking with a guildie and we thought it would be a good idea to lock a player into vampirism based on how long they used it, before it can be cured. Who cares if you take 50% more fire damage if you can simply not be touched at will almost indefinitely.

    There will always be a fotm and those who flock to it, they normally are the ones who make the most noise about it being fine, and say little about it when its over

    I had Mist Form and Dark Stalker (sneak speed) in my build months before release.
    I need those to be effective soloing or in a duo, where you'll need to escape situations you can't handle or to chase someone down.

    I don't even have an AoE on my bar except my Templar stabby spears (small frontal cone) :(

    I have to say I was surprised to see a vampire standing out in daylight in Davon's Watch the other day. I wondered why he wasn't bursting into flame, standing there in the sun. I seem to remember having that problem when I became a vampire in Morrowind...

    Edit2: If they actually let you sneak after combat rather than keeping you visible for sometimes what feels like 1-2 minutes, I'd have much less need for these abilities.

    So because i prefer to play solo or smallman and try to pick lemmings off of the zerg train running to whatever keep is under siege, I'm bad for wanting to be able to escape if i suddenly get jumped by 4+ people?

    there is a lorebook ingame that explains the eso strain of vampirism resistance to sunlight.

    Hell i wouldn't mind if they removed the damage reduction, untargetability (this one is especially stupid) etc, but the ability to escape must be there or soloing just won't be viable or at the very least Nightblades would be the only ones able to solo properly.

    Mist Form has no real combat use anyways, so it's hardly OP in that aspect, just annoying and I get that.

    I wish I was one of those lucky vamps with inf swam. I just take more damage and heal 75% slower. No buffs and my swarm works just like every other ultimate. I use it and it's done. Mist for doesn't even make immune to CC. Poisn Mist ticks 3 out of 8 times...

    If I didn't pay to do it I would have it cured. Until they do fix this garbage, my toon is broken, just like 90% of the vamps out there.

    Soloing properly means picking your fights, fights you think you can win. You get infinite stealth for every class - that's all you need. And if you bite off more than you can chew, it *should* be very hard to escape.

    None of this nonsense where sorcerers can just Bolt right across a valley, or vamps that can't be targeted. Especially because "escape" skills can be used to carry scrolls, not escaping. So yeah, if one dude gets away no biggie - if he runs he is not winning, but when that dude just stole your scroll, that's something else.

    Escape skills should be adjusted to allow for temporary, but non-repeatable utility which can be used in combat and for attempting to run away. Which means tweaking so they can't be used more than once or twice in a row, at the cost of leaving you drained of magicka/stamina.

    Well , played a vampire in the other ES games , im playing a vampire is ESO , that simple.

    Hell , it would been better to make vamps/ww totally useless skill lines , just for fun , but with 0 debuffs and problems.

    Then those that wanted to be one could be , and there would be no OP/UP talk.

    I'm a vampire because I was in past TES games, that's also why the most popular PvP campaign is Auriel's Bow, which is a a weapon from guess what? vampire dlc

    As a nightblade vampire you can sometimes run faster in stealth as a riding enemy, it seems bugged sometimes.

    Better question would be - why should anyone have the option? Sorc bolt escape needs a nerf too. Escape abilities are supposed to be something you use alongside your brain. Not just by spamming it 'till the bad men go away.

    Yes, because Bolt only uses up 20% mana per cast and gives a regen debuff. And we all know sorcs don't need to use up any mana during a fight, and are never stunned, knocked down or caught unawares, since stealth is so hard to get in this game and no-one has any gap closers. ><

    There's counters to all these things. People have not specced the counters or adjusted their tactics to use them, despite the fact that it was really obvious there were going to be >500 vamps on every PvP server (seriously, when a bite is costing 20-30k and there's packs of 30 people roaming Reaper's March every night looking for a vamp spawn, it's time to consider taking those anti-undead only skills). Once people do adjust, people will drop Vamp like a dead toad because it's a disadvantage 1v1 against pretty much everyone.

    Then i'll wait for them to "fix" (nerf) the OP sorc skills like critical surge, teleport and many other OP stuff they go going and have been since betas. Sure they removed templars only skill/passive to be able to sustain some kind of magicka management, but sorcs are still teleporting and healing themselves whilst doing insane damage.

    I thought the problem was high ranked specific classes in combination with set that made the problem. I am a NB vamp. I don't use the vamp skills much when I pvp. And I can not spam the ultimate. I also die instantly when I do against a Group of players.

    However I have seen the problem with some classes and sets. That needs to be changed!
    Add PvP loot drops for some risk/reward in this game.
