This is not true. Start the streak on opponent that can be stunned and do streak again in his stun GCD, you will be further than gapcloser range. If you also have good movement speed on top, there are literally 0 ways to stop this scenario. Same as there are 0 ways to stop meteor-streak.

It is uninteractive. Most people on the forums don't ask to remove stun, they ask to make it blockable. And it is crazy to think that sorcs will drop streak because it will be blockable. Like yeah lol sure. Players will hold block 100% of the time, right?

Only good movement speed you can have on a sorc is increased from casting the armor buff, and as previously stated they are not going to spam this when they should be streaking/dark dealing. If they use armor buff after streaking over you, there is plenty of time to cast a gap closer. Not that you need one anyway.

Stamina players should have no problem catching a streaking sorc with the bonuses to sprint speed in medium. Magicka players will have some more problems and need to use race against time + sprint to catch up which can easily deplete their stam leaving them vulnerable.

I dont usually chase sorcs as I am the one beeing chased most of the time and if i am fighting a sorc 1v1 they dont streak away 4 times and if they do i dont bother chasing. The reason sorcs are streaking 4-5 times is because they are caught in a bad situation, either from almost dying or beeing chased outnumbered.

True, there is no way to stop meteor-streak, but it is not even close to enough damage to kill you. The only thing it kills is new players who hopefully learnt a lesson to keep their heals up so they dont die next time.

Making the stun blockable doesnt change anything from the points people are trying to make, players wont block the streak when they are busy trying to kill him. And removing the unblockable aspect will remove the sorcs ability to kill players who permablock as soon as they are low hp since they have no good reliable stun.

Except Meteor + streak + curse rarely kills anyone who has a decent build. Its not as effective as incap + surprise attack + bow proc or a dizzy + subassault + DB. Ice comet doesn't do enough damage to even constitute as a PVP skill IMO

Key takeaway here is if your cc by itself does not do any damage or does not proc any status effects, its not really an effective burst combo on a decent player. If you have played the game long enough you will realize this is the exact reason why stam will always be superior to mag in PVP

Sorcs use streak because there is no other option to cc. If I had crystal frag cc, I would run BOL even in its nerfed state

I was in 5 medium as an imperial. I also had major + minor expedition. I wasn't stunned, so the 10% extra movement speed didn't proc. My maximum speed before CP buffs were around 45% + 40% + 15% = 200%. If I was another class, I'd lose the 15% but can easily get it back with 2 swift.

I gave the magsorc a huge head start on the bridge, and still caught up to him after he used ball of lightning 3 times in a row. If I had a gap closer, he would have zero chance of escaping.

Exactly, streak isn't gonna magically save anyone unless they have the speed to back it up. That's why it's infinitely harder to chase down a full speed stamsorc than a slow a** magsorc. Both can use streak, but the speed makes it much harder to catch one over the other. But then again there's always a gap closer for such situations.

The only time when streak actually saved me is when I use it to gain access to higher ground where nobody can catch me. There are some neat tricks you can do with streak that will give you an edge even against other streak users. Otherwise I use streak to get to the nearest LoS I can find to do the usual "tree humping" routine that many people dislike lol.

As someone who has one of every class... including sorc, steak stun should be blockable. But it needs to function in a way that if you hit someone with streak from the sides or behind, like nightblades "flanking" mechanic, they will always get stunned regardless of blocking or not. You can only block streak stun if you block and it hit you from the direct front.

OFCOURSE IT IS.

I tell how i use it:

1) I can spam it how many times i want
2) Wanna duel? I streak u, and u wont catch me
3) I use it to jump on platforms, edges, floors, so nobody cant follow me
4) I can use it to help my teammate when he is 1 v 1, so he can drop hes combo with ez.
5) I sometimes streak a group of players, just to stop then and deconcantrate for a moment.

I refitted my junk sorc character for pvp and it looks awesome at least for bg!

Most of the time I don't even know where I'm heading or whom I'm fighting, just randomly put curse, streak through as many enemies as possible, then crystal frags. Don't even need expensive magika potions and DC does nothing to me

The only non-blockable stun from NB's kit is fear and it's reasonable because you have to work to deliver it UNLIKE a one-button wonder that called streak

Streak should be blockable and sorc should get another 1 point click target stun that is unblockable something similiar to templar Javelin but Javelin is blockable.

Something that is not spammable off course ,javelin not have that much damage on stamina it ignore armor ,on magicka have more damage but knockback. It should be similiar ability to stamina version that stun ,javelins can be roll dodged. Sorcerer have nice motif like ethereal weapons or shockbolt that stun and apply some(minor debuff or buff) or something with morphs on stamina and magicka.

this is true, even though i had already previously played almost every class, i only got over million damage on a bg for the first time ever on a low level magsorc alt, absurdly easy to delete players instantly with your class kit as safely and effective as possible

I stopped playing with that since there is no counter on some of bg maps.

IMO stun and fear should be limited to ultimates, and delayed bomb on target player instead of an area shouldn't even exist.

The problem with this ability is that it can't be working as intended, since the extra 33% cost for casting it again within 4 seconds (presumably to deter repeated use) does not seem to be doing anything from preventing sorcs for using the skill multiple times in a row. Make the 33% increase cumulative (i.e 3780 magicka first cast, 5027 second, 6686 third, 8892 fourth, and so on).

Streak should lose its stun effect. Its an ability that allows you to escape. I see it as a way for players to streak in and stun us.
