NoPROC Campaign - What's it like so far?

I know the IC event is going on so pop might be low in the NoPROC Campaign for the moment but...

With it being a (relatively) reduced cheese zone, I'm def looking forward to it when it drops on console.

So my PC PvP brethren:
how are the fights? Metas? TTK? Performance? Lag?

Because of the event a lot of Ravenwatch pvpers are in no cp IC, but from what I’ve played in Raven it’s been pretty nice so far. No lag, no cheese that I’ve noticed (esp. with health recovery nerfed).

No idea what is going to be meta yet, outside of stacking either stats/crit/penetration.

Pretty quiet, as is Gray Host, most likely due to the IC event. Performance on the 2 servers is similar.

Ravenwatch now is a relatively safe environment to try out new classes and skills, though obviously not every build can be put to the test there. Damage is a lot lower so I've found it useful to practice defensive rotations and such. In away it has sort of taken over the function of the U50 server before that became overrun with cheese builds and died an inglorious death. I wish ZOS would go more out of their way to promote this as the server for newer or returning players, but as it stands there's no indication this is even a no-proc server when you look at it in the server list. I feel like it'd be a good opportunity to draw in new players.

One thing I will say is that no-proc also makes it clear why some degree of 'zerg control' is needed, be it through bombs or other set-ups. From the 2-3 days I've played there since the update, raw numbers appeared the decisive factor in how battles would turn out. This is a bit of an issue when the faction numbers on PC/EU are so imbalanced that as an AD all you can do is try to kite the 20 DC pug long enough before they zerg you down and you get teabagged by the guy who barely got a hit in. Gets old fast.

The meta so far is high hp, armor, and sword n board. Idk why since without procs its much harder to die, but finding a player who doesn't have at least 30k hp and sword n board is extremely rare. I mean even the magsorcs are running around with sword n board instead of a resto staff. Normally they compensate for lower defenses by keeping their buffs and shields up, but now they running around like a magicka tank.

I am running my usual glass cannon gank blade(spriggans and heartland conqueror) and they can't even kill me they gimped their damage so bad. I have for the first time managed to survive someone using a detect potion on me, twice. If you can't kill a glass cannon nb with a detect potion, you should consider adding more damage. I really hope that the meta shifts at least a hair back towards damage. It can't possibly be fun not being able to kill even the squishiest of targets with the "I win" potion. I know I find it pretty lame that I have to go pure penetration to land kill shots, but the fact that I still kill them means they will just stack even more defense :'( .
I wrote a poem that I titled, "The ganker's delight."

As you lay upon the ground, cry not little pawn.
The pain will pass as quickly as my blade did take you,
but my delight will last and you will respawn.
My heart simply cannot contain my joy, when I ply my trade.

The fault lies with you, your skill was lacking.
Now your salt is mine forever, can't you hear the laughing?
Once you were so proud and now you are reduced to this.
    A miserable, loud deuced fool.

With every tear you drip, with every excuse you let slip.
All of your insecurities and worries bring a smile to my lip.
From your despair I have ripped endless glories,
but our affair is over now. Be afraid for I will return for more.

I have received many titles, to my allies I am The sniper Emperor and Grand champion hero of the Pact. However these titles mean little to me, it is the ones given to me by my victims that I prefer. To them I am "Xv1er", "trash", "no balls", "zerger", "noob", "cringe", "no skill", "camper", "100% new", "the reason this game is dying", "pathetic", "a sack of piece of [snip]", "mediocre", "absolute inbred", "beyond a virgin", "ganky dork", "fat smelly 40yr old virgin", "little girl", "daddy", "exploiting loser", and every [snipped] word known to man.

As a solo/duo player, incoming damage is low. It got boring after a couple of days. Switched to CP PvP for the first time and I find myself enjoying (as I never liked CP1.0). Will likely not play no-CP again.
