Okay, I've got a big question to ask and I'm not sure if I'm missing something.
When you go to Sancre Tor with the companions, the place is destroyed. The current year is 2E 582.
However, in lore on the wiki (Citing the book The Legendary Sancre Tor), It tells us that "With the decline of the Alessian Order [circa 1E2321], the seat of religious rule of Cyrodiil moved south to the Imperial City, but Sancre Tor remained a mountain fortress and major religious center until the rise of the Septim Dynasty".
The Septim Dynasty started in the third era, nearly 400 years after "the soulburst".
So books tell us that the city was destroyed at the end of the second era, but we visit it 400 years earlier and it's already destroyed? Am i missing something here?

Hell, the clone of the Imperial Palace in Coldharbour isn't even covered in blood and feces. That was quite a disappointment.1 -

Yep lol. I'm pretty sure they don't even realize that their entire main story is flawed.
