Another month, the same problem (after patch) - I cannot come to the character selection screen, just loading until PC crashes.

Is it just me?

I dont´use add-ons, but thank you for the help!

I have a similar experience. I use no addons, and after I select a character to play there is an endless loading screen. It seems that it doesn't matter what area is trying to load (tried a char in vivec, in Denshaanm even in Hew Bane).

The majority of the times after trying to load the character, the client drops me to the login screen with the error message connect to the server timed out (Before starting blaming my int connection, I run a 1GBit/s fiber, so it seems that response back from the server takes forever)

Worths to mention that I experience the same behavior on different locations on both Mac and PC versions.
