Where to go for builds and info?

Came back to the game about 2 months ago and have been pve'ing. I found a great site/YouTuber to find pve builds but I have yet to find anything similar for pvp. Is there any place out there to find builds or find information as to why people choose the sets and traits I see such as well fitted and impenetrable and what/if there are caps to these traits.

There are no caps on traits. You can't have enough impen (or well fitted), but because it's so hard to stack these days, many people make do with 2K or even less. They have other priorities, like plain old resistances. You best ignore the 33K PvE resistance cap as well, because stacking penetration is very prevalent in PvP. If I was able to get 50K resistances, maybe I'd stop there, but you basically can't, so it's a moot point. Damage is extremely high, this patch. Stacking resistances (Pariah, <cough>) is one way to counter it. If you choose resistance as (one of) your form(s) of mitigation(s), you best stack it well into the 30s.Came back to the game about 2 months ago and have been pve'ing. ✭✭✭✭✭Even better than YT videos, would be to ask in discord servers of pvp groups or guilds, so that way you can get a variery of info that's relevant to the current trends.1 -

so, the challenge is: you love to pvp, so - how do you maximize your pvp time in game...well, sadly it requires an extensive amount of time outside the game in familiarizing yourself with different gear sets which are constantly being re-worked (nerfed) and added to the game...on top of that all the skills that get re-worked (mostly nerfed)...
if you're a glutton for punishment and want to get a taste of all classes, races and stam/mag focus - well, you've just committed to a whole lot of extra time where you aren't pvping...
the good news is - as long as you're not constantly involved in small scale fighting, you can really get away without being maximized in your builds...
still, in my opinion - short of using someone else's builds - best way to put your toon together, get a basic idea of how you wanna fight, and gets to reading...
