Hello,

When I die (often) in PvP, what do I lose?
Alliance Points?
Tel Var stones?
Self Esteem?

Tanks,

Z

In Cyrodiil, maybe just a little Self Esteem.

Tel Var is only lost (and gained) in Imperial City.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    Time

And only if the keep is flagged and there are no forward camps around.

Time, pride, or possibly whatever it was you were fighting over in the first place. Nothing worth getting worked up over; but good luck not getting a bit irritated by lag

If I’m in transit, I like to think of it as a free port to my next destination! Like a keep recall stone that doesn’t cost 20k ap. If at a keep, a bit of time is lost.

In IC, half your telvar. You learn to be less attached to it.

You will, likely, die a lot- the best you can do is develop a sense of humor about it.

Time, patience, and in IC, Tel Var-stones.

I "cheat", when I die, and if I have more than 100 tel var, I go down and bank them before going out again. Otherwise I would have had near zero tel vars. :-(

That's not cheating that's just playing it safe. Every banked Tel'Var Stone is profit and nobody can fault you for wanting to save up and use those stones for sets, cosmetics, alchemy supplies, etc.

Not in PvP. In IC, yes.

Time riding? Tel Var? As a mostly solo player I value staying alive as much as kills. If I die often, I take that as a sign that I have to work on my build, my situational awareness, my playstyle or my general skill. In IC you don't want to die, because you want to bring Tel Var home. In Cyro you don't want to die, because it takes you out of the fight. Riding is not fun. I may get resurrected, but as a solo player I often don't. As a duo you either feel you're letting your partner down or he's too busy to rez you or you're being staked out and he can't. Either way you have to wait or respawn and ride. That's no fun. If you die in a group and the fight is going well, maybe you get rezzed quickly and that's OK. If you die a lot as a solo player, that's just boring, because you get banished from the fight you were in. Even in IC you might be forced to spawn elsewhere or in the sewers, which can be a bit jarring.

I think everyone do that... I killed a guy and I gain 30k Tel Var, that means he was running arround IC with 60k Tel Var LOOOOOOOL, I went to the bank as I soon as I saw my currency.

Luckily that’s not even close to being true. With rapids being a passive now it takes less than a minute to ride between keeps and most cases you can revive at the same keep, camp, or get a revive from a player.
