I do not attack players in questing hubs.

But if I will see someone from my allaiance in questing hub being attacked by other player - I will go and help, till attacker dies or withdraws.
I remember that a couple of times enemy player once he/she realised that he/she will lose, tried to escape, and then gave up and put their weapon away...

Their surprise when we stopped attacking was priceless... so they could survive and keep questing and possibly spread the positive message.

Always stop to help. They chose the wrong alliance and all enemy factions should be ruthlessly exterminated.
If you want to dual, go PvE. Cyro, IC and BGs are all team oriented areas.

including the style where anyone not in your alliance is KOS. So.....I guess some styles it supports overlap in conflicting ways. Really though I see it as AvAvA, and mainly through that lens. Other playstyles, to me, are subordinate to that.

That’s what’s great about Cyrodill is it does support all play styles. I do play for points, but if two players are having a fight away from a keep then I respect that and let them play the game the way they want. To me zerging down a solo in a fight is subordinate, but hey we all have our opinions.

    sometimes its clearly a duel.

other times your going to respect it but then you see an engine guardian sphere proc and know you just have to put them in the dirt where they belong.

I'll always respect the 1v1, a lot of times I'll stand watch incase someone comes and jumps the individual in my faction, but a lot of times the person in the other faction will stop fighting. If they don't however, they will receive the hands.

I'll also never zerg down anyone I've had a 1v1 with. I make it a priority to remember cool peeps from DC or AD.

Yeah people here making jokes and laughing but the reality is xv1 is the meta.

The people jumping in a 6v1 to try and be the hero need to take a long hard look at the life they led up until this point, and make some changes.

When I see two people fight, I assume they are duelling. Even if they aren't. If the player from my faction looses and flames me for not helping then lol.

Depends. I can't always recognize if something is a duel. If I see 2 players fighting while their healthbar barely drops I assume it's a duel, but I've also been in a situation where I fought off an enemy attacking an ally thinking the latter was getting jumped, then felt all good about my heroic deed before receiving an angry whisper about duelling.
