I am thankful that ESO has focused on PvP and provided such a huge zone to give it that Open World feel but the conquest system is so fleeting that it feels like an arcade game.
... You and your guild gear up and plot an attack on a Keep to make your mark on the world... You tear down walls, fight off defenders and NPCs and finally lay claim to your new Keep. You now have a new home in Cyrodiil ! .... which can be taken back in a just few minutes while you are away
At the moment the Siege system is fun but fleeting, it is like an arcade game version of tug of war and factions can loose all their gains in a couple hours if their numbers fall off due to things like sleeping, working, going to school.
The game needs some elements that are more persistent, like other Siege centered MMOs offer.
ie. Castles that can be taken only during a set Siege window, where a clan could schedule resources to man the defense. A place for players to get invested in, something that helps them care about losing something, rather than current Tennis match of back and forth, swapping Keeps and scrolls with little concerns because the map will be completely different when you wake up tomorrow.
