✭✭✭On the receiving end... Overload you can be hit by it 4 times sometimes without your health bar moving. So you can't react, as soon as I see the overload hands I stay pretty defensive and take note of every projectile. Snipe is another bad offender, but can't be fired quite as quickly.
To cast dizzy is super delayed, but channeled skills probably take the biscuit as most of their damage just doesn't connect. Jabs and rapid strikes for example.3 -

✭I've recently come to the conclusion that my real pain point was a library add-on for Master Merchant. That thing was so busy doing whatever it does with guild sales data that it was literally getting me killed. I disabled it for my PvP character and things were much improved. ✭✭✭✭✭I've been told Burning Embers is OP in lag by the ones I've killed with it. It's DK's single target damage over time claw strike that deals about 5k damage initially and then has about a 1-2k damage per second part for 10 seconds. Also heals for 75% of the damage done so if the lag is really bad the ability burns them slowly and keeps you alive. Can stack it with other DoTs which continue to tick down while the game refuses to cast your spammable for the 5th time in a row.
Edit: As for skills that refuse to fire in lag cone based attacks like Engulfing Flames, Templar's Sweeps, and Vampire's Mesmerize if they would hit an enemy in their AoE tend to just.... stop. ✭✭✭✭✭Teleport Strike is particularly useless in even moderate lag. You make the sound, do the animation, but do not teleport anywhere 90% of the time.2 -

Jabs - you might land 1 out of 4 strikes
Dizzy - the windup can take 4-5 seconds while you run around dragging an anchor behind you.
Every cast time ulti, including leap. Leap doesn't have a cast time necessarily but refuses to launch despite you being next to your target on your screen.Light Attack Hero

ExistingRug61✭✭✭✭Melee abilities that require targets and have low range (ie: veiled strike and morphs with its 5m range compared to many other abilities that are 7m) seem to almost never work due to player movement. rbfrgsp✭✭✭✭✭Without doubt the cyro NPCs' skills and movements are worse contributors to lag than any skill input.
Last night I was afk crouching and when I came back the keep I was in had flipped and I was still in stealth. No players around the whole keep (I had sieges out for minutes and no-one came). The lag was insane. NPCs confused whether to attack or retreat, none of my actions firing, unable to interact with my siege engines, total mess.1 -

ResidentContrarian✭✭✭✭✭Engulfing flames. So bad, despite the damage increase I never run it on my bar in PvP.
It's already a bad skill when it doesn't lag, add that into not firing and making you jerk and stutter (and blacking bars out), and it's a skill to never slot in my book.0 -
