Low Pop Cap Test

Ok we have tried every test that the devs can think of to improve performance in Cyrodiil and nothing works. Except capping the population at what is equivalent to 2 bars. Can we please try that test. Just on one campaign would be enough. It is the least they could do after trying everything else.

I think we effectively have over the years, as the overall population of Cyrodiil has fallen. I think the pop-locked of today is nowhere near the same number as the pop-locked of several years ago.

They have already reduced the population cap in cyro at least several times. They just lowered to roughly 100/faction with the no proc set test and they did not increase the cap when proc sets came back. That was only a few months ago they already did what you are suggesting. ....it didn't work.

The solution is to lease servers capable of supporting the game. The original population cap in cyrodiil was about 300/faction. I'm guessing the 12 man cap on group size was implemented largely due to this situation.

What would happen if ZOS did a low pop cap test?

    1. Best Case:

No improvement in performance. Everything goes back to normal.

    2. Worst Case:

Significantly improvement in performance. We get a permant low pop cap of 30 players per alliance.

    3. What actually will happen:

No improvement in performance. However, ZOS will like the behavioral changes in PvP and keep the low pop cap anyway.

You want 20v20v20 fights in the game? Zos has already reduced population caps multiple times.

Remember the huge battles back at launch. Sure most was just spamming lightattacks back then but the game feels so empty now with just 1-2 big fights on primetime.

    No need for the test.
We alredy know that improving server resource during MYM improves performance.
They have the solution, but they don't want to invest money in it.

Cyrodiil is dead. Just accept it and move on.
