EU Scourge is really, really empty

During beta the campaign (Bloodthorn) I played in had a constant 24/7 amazing activity. It was amazingly fun to always be able to just join a group and get fighting at anytime. Now I am in Scourge on EU and every time I have joined the campaign it's been pretty much deserted. I have even posted in zone chat asking if anyone was on and haven't gotten a reply at all in over an hour.

What is going on? Are so few people actually playing? DC doesn't have a single keep anymore either last time I checked. I don't mind being the underdog but if I can't even have a chance to find people to group with to defend against the few people playing on the other factions it's awful.

I have experienced the exact same thing (also DC). It's deserted and no point in joining unless you want to run around and waste time. :(

Also to switch I would have to grind AP in an almost empty world.

Cyrodiil in beta was such an amazing experience and probably the main reason I decided to buy ESO. Now I'm just questing and leveling which is fun but without a challening and active PvP campaign I can't see myself sticking with it for too long.

I would imagine its mostly because people want to level up first before starting to PvP. Personally i'm holding off choosing a home campaign until well into next week when more people will be joining AvA.

I guested to Auriels Bow and it's exactly like in beta. It's completely filled with fights all the time and great fun. Since Scourge is deserted I guess i'll have to farm 15,000 points in Auriels Bow and then make it my home :P

Rule of thumb is to guest first to see how campaign plays out

I joined that campaign because it was supposed to be the RP one but it's a total desert. Yesterday tried Dawnbreaker and it was a bit better at times but not much. I guess will Guest on the top ones and farm AP to switch.

It's quickly filling up now and it seems to be well balanced at the moment. And yeah this is the unofficial RP campaign for Europe.

If you want a high population campaign then Auriels Bow is a better choice but if you like roleplaying Scourge is the way to go. I'm sure we will see Scourge eventually filling up as its still early and most are still levelling.

Hey there, just so you know some of the major players on Scourge (AD side) have moved their Home Campaign to Hopesfire because there was so little PvP it was painful.

It is the unofficial RP campaign for Europeans. I do hope we get lots of more folks joining in though.

I've set this one to be my home campaign but have experienced the same problem so far.

I'm DC but have been really struggling to find a group to do anything, the few times I have found a group everyone is off doing their own thing and nothing gets done.

My guess is people are questing and enjoying the game away from pvp. Give it time and the pvp will start to fill up. I am also on the Scourge campaign due to being a RP'er and was there earlier with a guild group.
The RP guild I am in is a pve/pvp guild so expect to see us out there.

I don't think it helps that whenever we as a guild go in to PvP we either meet no resistance or the AD zerg steam rolls us. Although we did manage to hold out at Bleaker's for a good while last night, was definitely the most fun I've had in the campaign.
