Ranged attacks: Screwed, nothing ranged hits anything outside of melee range.

Melee attacks: Screwed, nothing hits, because the enemy is always out of range, or desynched, or they just don't get used at all.

Break Free: Screwed, not much to say, it just doesn't work at all, the server doesn't react.

Dodging: Screwed, completely delayed and you get hit either way.

Procs: Fantastic, they are the only thing that currently works reliable...hooray.

    Lol. Hey look at least they've managed to close the gap further between people using procs while rubber banding their controllers and leaving the room, vs people actually trying to play the game well and improve.

    The problem is you can't really say much about that new Procsystem, since there is nothing to compare it to. If the rest of combat would work reliable you could at least look into how powerful they actually are compared. But with only Procs actually working that obviosuly makes Procs strongest on the field.
    I mean maybe the new system is actually very great and balanced, but we just can't see it due to the fact that everything else broke in exchange.

    The title of this thread is a little misleading.

    These are not issues cause by procs returning. I was probably about the 5th person back in cyro after the patch. The zone was empty except for two AD in the EP gate keeps. Ranged and melee were not firing even then when there were <10 players between Morrowind camp and BRK.

    So the errors you're seeing are 100% nothing to do with an increasing number of calculations caused by proccing armour.

    The big concern now is, if it's not simply hardware underperforming, will they be able to find out how to fix it...?

    I can't say the Procs are the reason and I didn't. What I can say is that Procs returned and everything went downhill, maybe coincidential maybe not.

    Ball groups are definitely enjoying the return of proc sets for sure.. Just play for 10 mins in gray host eu and you will see.

    It is only day one and imbalance is immediately more apparent than ever before.

    My experience are as follows in the first hour of PVP:

    I see this stamsorc player and I follow him across the field and he goes behind a tree. He pops out and it becomes a 1 v 1 encounter. As we collided, the player dished out a 35k+ burst on me with a combination of skills and was dead before I could even process what just happened. Then I checked.

    11k Crystal Weapons.
    10k Power Overload (Light attack)
    16k Shrouded Daggers.

    Combat log timestamp puts it within under a second.

    It wasn't even from stealth to be considered a traditional gank. It was just a flat out face to face encounter.

    That's just a taste. There is more cheese for me to experience.

    Damage was already high. Now, it blew through the roof right into the sky.


    Not even mad. Just laugh at how ridiculous it is. :)

    My comment was in reference to the performance. The horrid performance is due to servers etc and not procs.

    The new update has nothing to do with this. This is actually the opposite of OP; this is "non proc" (probably "procs" but not a damage set - the only procs people actually complain about)

    Sounds like Heavy Armor needs a nice buff. :smile:

    Maybe I should of had posted that elsewhere since it’s more of a balance perspective than about performance….

    I didn’t notice much change in the performance regarding the return of all the “procs”, just the overall balance feels a lot worse with what players can come up with now that all sets are enabled again.

    So I think there is a bug where if you have an armor proc, it sometimes does not work. Usually happens after zoning. Couldnt figure out why I was hitting for very little damage and taking a ton for a stretch then saw my defensive and offensive set was not giving me anything. I've also seen wild swings in damage on the same target while channeling something like jabs

    As usual; the game is more broken than ever after a patch. The only proc I've seen being really prevalent all over the place is VD. They made mag abilities now get stealth bonus damage and that combination is really potent.

    If it was a pve-quest or problem with crownstore they'd hotfix it in a day. But since it's pvp expect it to stay broken for 3 more months.

    I haven't had any problems on my side.

    Sitting at 44-57 ping on PC NA, 140 ping PC EU, no lag noted during primetime on either server in PvE/PvP.

    Then again, I am the ResidentContrarian...
