I died like countless times. By himself i can dodge and keep fighting but he calls help. they damage that the adds do is considerable. Class nightblade healer restoration staff. I cant leave the zone because the door is gone. Log out of the game puts you right back in the finale scene. Some classes are able to do this but im speced with heals sooo it is not working out.

If your current setup of skills doesnt work try throwing them around abit. Im a healer aswell though a templar healer and I was able to solo this quite easily. Instead of using magicka for DPS save it for healing though if you have magicka to spare throw some DPS in there, other then that just keep using heavy attack with Resto Staff.

I healed myself with swallow soul only. The leech effect was high enough to keep me alive and it deals some damage, too. The add phase can be annoying, i don´t know if you have any aoe skill slotted, but as long as you keep swallow soul up you should be fine.

Using block reflects the adds abilities back to them thus killing themselves.

No it's not. Switch some gear around, take a look at some other skills you have, perhaps even use another weapon.

Because you died a few times doesn't make a quest "too hard" in general.

I actually had zero issues with this and felt that it was set up wrong. Basically, with the mechanics of Strife/Swallow Soul healing you for 25% of the damage done every 2 seconds, and the significantly increased damage dealt as part of the mechanics of that whole ending sequence, combined with the fact that your total health doesn't change... basically, I'd cast Swallow Soul, hit for a ton of damage, and heal for around 750hp every 2 seconds, which considering I had all of about 1700hp total at the time... was significant. Healing nearly half my health back every 2 seconds, I just made sure SwSoul was always up.

It's not hard, you're just doing it wrong.

I'm a sword/board spec Templar and although I've had a really rough time with some other story quests in the game to this point, I have to admit I was actually a bit let down at how easy the Molag Bal fight was. Yes, I had one Templar self-heal on my bar. But I almost never had to use it. My magicka had always fully regenerated by the time I dropped to about 80% life and cast a heal.

I basically just circle-strafed him clockwise, never stopping, to avoid all the red AoE he does, and attacked with left-click only, saving my stamina to block any time he leaned back for a big hit. When the 299 titan adds spawned I actually spent all my mana on a few hits of AoEs to burn them down, then let it recharge again for the next inevitable heal.
