EUROPEAN HOME CONTEST

Build a home that reflects the visual and/or cultural aspects of your favourite European country, whether it’s a country you love travelling to or that you call home
2020 wasn’t the best year for sightseeing so why not celebrate the wonderful tool that is the housing editor and use it to recreate the breathtaking spots we couldn’t see this year?


THEME
Any European country (geographically speaking, not necessarily part of the European Union)
Can be exterior (Austrian mountains, Greek temple on a hill, Icelandic geysers), and/or interior (French cafe, Oktoberfest tent)
Any period of time (Victorian London, Viking longhouse , Ancient Rome for example) as long as it’s present or past (no future European city)
Judging criteria: Creativity, Aesthetics, Conceptualisation of the Theme

PRIZES
1st place : 6000 crowns, hot pepper bantam guar pet and 5 million gold
2nd place : 3000 crowns and 2 million gold
3rd place: Torchbug pet, 3 million gold and a staple home of your choice
Smaller prizes will be sent to honorable mentions

RULES

-you must be on the PC-EU server
-no commissioned homes
-no EHT fx as we cannot guarantee every judge will be able to see them
-any size is allowed, the judges will take into consideration the size of the homes they visit and if you have ESO plus or not
-beginners are more than allowed, do let us know if this is your first home so that judges can take that into consideration as well
-Europe is a diverse continent filled with many different cultures and we kindly ask future contestants to refrain from making big political statements and to keep in mind that this is a visual and friendly contest.

You have until April the 9th at midnight (Paris Time) to submit your entry using the form linked below. The winners will be announced on the 9th of May to celebrate Europe Day. Good luck and happy decorating!
