Is AP boosting allowed in ESO?

Some people in different campaigns in PC EU been boosting AP for a while, blocking other people from the leaderboards. One guy who got 5 mil AP in three hours after the campaign started, and now some PvE player who came and got 10mil AP in two days blocking people who play the campaign from becoming emperors. Is it allowed to do it? Does ZoS ignore people who do that?

It depends how the boosting is being done from what I understand.

One group helping one player in their own group/faction gain massive AP gains is fine.

Working with another faction or using alts in another faction to feed/boost is not allowed under their "against the spirit of cyrodiil" argument. However I don't think I've ever heard of action being taken in regard to it outside of the absurd Outpost farming some years ago.

Do you have evidence? Like, more evidence than players getting suspiciously large amounts of AP in very little time?

ZOS does take action when players are deliberately trading objectives (Bleakers incident) or taking advantage of bugged AP (Blackboot incident). Bleakers resulted in 3-day suspensions and loss of AP.

Its a lot harder to prove and get them to deal with "One guy is killing his buddies repeatedly by a resource or the gate way in the backfield where nobody ought to be unless they are feeding him AP." I can't recall specific examples, especially since ZOS isn't likely to discuss specific disciplinary actions, but I suspect that if you have recorded evidence, they would investigate. The problem is getting the evidence in the first place.

Edit: found the ZOS quote on the Bleakers incident, particularly "Accounts found taking part in cross-alliance AP farming may be subject to disciplinary actions." https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/3961106#Comment_3961106

    I do have evidence

Then report it since boosting is against the TOS, with the understanding that ZOS almost certainly won't tell you the result of their decision.

If i say darts, does that remind you of anything? I think i know the player you are talking about. He is an ass, when i whisped him he literally told me he is just jusing zos's features. He was on AD blackreach, and got like 12 million AP and left campaign right after getting emp

But of an old thread but @Mithriil_ just curious if you think this worked?

Sadly boosters are ahoy again in noCP and just curious if anyone since 2017 has seen ZOS take action on this type of cheating.

@ZOS_GinaBruno would love a view on if boosting is worth reporting or if it just wastes your team's time?
