Cyrodill is Very Fun. What is a Good Campaign or Best Map Area for Solo Player?

I just hit level 10 yesterday and immediately went into Cyrodill. It was very fun. I went straight to an enemy zone trying to ambush somebody. I travelled like 20 minutes before finding somebody to fight. Actually, I got careless and I was the one ambushed. I lost but it was a competitive fight. I did not feel cheated. The other guy deserved the win. The fight was not too long or too short. Time to kill is spot on. All that travelling was totally worth it. Just the fear of dying (which I did) after all that traveling got my adrenaline going. What is a good campaign or best map area for a solo player looking for one on one fights? I heard close to towns you can get one on one fights? Where in the map are these towns? North, south, etc.

I suggest you look for campaigns with high player content. This is shown by the little bars to the right of the campaign list window. Be patient and wait in ambush. Look for choke points or regular travel routes for people returning to battle. I wish you lots of luck, you are not going to do well soloing at level 10 :D

An alternative would be to go to one of your keeps which is under attack and wait on the outer wall. Sooner or later there will be groups of skirmishers who jump down to deal with the enemy siege weapons. Tag along with these players (you don't have to group), follow their lead and see if you can help them.

You could also form a small group (about 4 or 5) to wander round ambushing people. I have seen quite a few groups like this made up of low level players. They are quite effective. You need to take a healer with you.

The towns are found in each alliances area. Some interesting tidbits is a tunnel system under a mountain in the EP section of the map, and the Aeylid wells all over the AD part of the map. Oddly enough I haven't explored the DC portion of the map much yet so I don't know all of what can be found there. Oh and the Moth Priests cathedral where the Elder Scrolls where originally kept is in the EP section of the map.
