If it's the one that increases weapon and spell damage by X amount for 5 seconds, that's a weapon glyph. You'll want either the increase magical or physical harm glyphs for jewelry.

Easy way to tell them appart : look at the shape of the glyph.

If it's a nice pentagon, it goes on weapons
If it's a circle, it goes on jewels
If it's some kinda shield-shape, it goes on armor (and shields)

Also glyphs are level specific, make sure the level of the glyph is compatible with the level of item you're trying to apply it on.
