Have low dps [stamina-sorc], wrong build?

Hi every one (sry if my english is bad)
Well, i was enjoying the game to vet 2, and i tried spindle. And here i see the gargoyle.
The group disbanded because the boss always goes into enrage, meaning damage dealer were too low.
So i tried my dps, and i'm at ~230, i read i should be near 500 for vet 2.
i'm using 2H, 5 medium-2light and my skills are :
uppercut =>dizzying swing
entropy =>degeneration
momentum =>rally
surge =>critical surge
bound armor =>bound aegis
with this, i trie to maintain buff and debuff, use light attack and uppercut to don't loose my stamina.
Did i see my melee sorcer completly wrong or miss something?

Reavan✭✭✭2h's dps is low using it the way you are, upercut is a low dps skill due to cast time.
I spam critical charge and for sure it does alot more dps than your set up.0 -
I think it depends on what you're using more of. Are you using more weapon based abilities or are you using your class abilities more? In the long run, as long as you and your team is surviving and you're having fun thats all that should really matter.
However to answer your question, if you want a stamina build Sorc then during combat use your weapon skills. Also ensure that you are using skills that compliment each other.

How do you slot your overload bar?
When you have enough ultimate to activate Overload go ahead and activate it, then go to your skills menu and slot your skills to that bar. Then, toggle Overload back off, should switch to your weapon slot bars, toggle it back on again to make sure it switches your skills. It allows you to do this because weapon skills (although there have been reports supporting otherwise) are not usable while Overload is toggled on.
I do know that times I have Overload on I cannot use my dual wielding abilities, I'm not sure if it is a bug, but I believe it is supposed to be that way.0 -

It is possible to back to 6m for the charge but still be able to do light attak? (i know some boss have large hitbox, but it is possible for all boss?)

Also, I wanted to point something out about activating weapon skills while overload is on. Last night I was running around on my Sorc healer using Overload. While it was active I WAS able to activate Mutagen/Illustrious Healing/Blessing of Protection while it was turned on. Seems like we need some more clarification on this matter..........0 -

Weapon skills work during overload, it is bugged and doesn't always show an animation though.0 -

I've seen some arguments on both sides for surge and overload, if you have some evidence supporting one side please post it, I'll see if I can find some myself on it. As far as weapon skills I know the other day it wouldn't let me do blood craze or rapid strikes on my dual wielder, maybe it is just that bugged at the current moment.0 -
Niminion✭✭✭Easy to test, turn on overload watch numbers, turn on surge watch numbers = the same = I took it off my overload bar.
Turn on overload, use flurry, my guy stands there mob falls over dead = no animation but still damage.0
