Also just a quick note, as a former customer service staff member for a company who will remain nameless, I can promise you that no one cares when we write about cancelling a subscription. Sorry to say but us little mice really don’t matter enough for anyone who makes those kind of decisions to even notice. We are statistically irrelevant. My advice is to follow your heart and play a game that still gives you pleasure. End of the day that really is the only thing that matters.

So you didn’t even get tier 1 on any character with double AP enabled. So you barely gave it a chance.

Anyway, when it works it’s much better, unfortunately it only works after around 11pm...

My tinfoil hat theory: Since the PvP design team is somewhat separate from the rest of the design team (so they can do changes like this independent of the people busy making overland content, balancing PvE, etc) and don't have the final word in every new set or system added to the game, they don't like proc sets themselves and wish to justify their dislike by the data and "positive feedback" they may receive forcing it on the whole Cyrodiil community. After all, if new content is focused around the much larger overland, TES roleplay, and "single player" communities, then PvP balance can almost always be prioritized when it comes to broad changes without much internal pushback (at the expense of hardcore PvE, sometimes).

At the end of all this, I could see them turning the primary 30-day locked campaign into a no proc set zone (with their curated list of preferred exceptions) and making one unlocked campaign all sets allowed, player outrage and theorycrafting be damned. Tinfoil hat of course, since many of the mythic items were made for PvP right out the gate.
