The No Proc Bail-out: Our golded out bank accounts are too big to fail

This No Proc thing is an interesting idea, I think it will be interesting to compare the differences in Cyrodiil versus IC or BGs, and that this could be helpful at arriving at meaningful class balance so that all gear can be incorporated back into the Alliance War, but class skills will be strong enough that players will prefer sets which increase the power of their skills. Thing is, many are looking at this list thinking about how they have exactly none of these sets ready for combat, and they have hundreds of transmuted, golded out, hakeijo'd items which if they use, will put them at an objective numerical disadvantage.

How about this, in Cyrodiil, for the duration of this test:

1. All Medium conditional sets receive the same 5th piece bonus as Draugr Hulk, all Heavy as Plague Doctor, all Light as Alfiq
2. All Arena weapons will act as an Agility / Willpower / Endurance weapon per the following rule:
a. Bows, 2h, and Duel Wield become Agility
b. Destro and Restro become Willpower
c. S&B and Frost Staff become Endurance
3. All Mythics operate as 1 piece Gold Trainee
4. Trainee is changed such that each piece grants 500 of each Resource

1 & 2 are obviously more important than 3 & 4.

This would still leave odd 2-4 bonuses like that of Way of Air and Syvarra's Scale possibly inactive, but that will be plenty tolerable for most. We could just say all 5th piece conditional Crafted Set pieces will be the only ones left unusable, I'm not sure how they could be made to work. Maybe give them a 5 piece like 1 piece Stonekeeper or like I described above for Trainee.

Or they could do the simple and obvious thing and just re-enable ALL sets apart from the 5-10 that are actually a problem.

With this change players can simply swap out their 2nd piece Monster Sets for another 1 piece and log into Cyrodiil and see if they like it, if not go on to IC and BGs, but otherwise it seems like this will all be rather disruptive.

Basically this. It doesn’t need some big elaborate solution that isn’t even realistic.

Yeah I know. It would just solve a big problem with this for many players. Not just for those that don't have the gold, but people who don't want to mess with this and just want to play. Let their old sets work as I described and they don't even have to think about adapting immediately, just play and see how it is.

It’s not realistic tho. They had trouble with just enabling double ap for the test. What makes you think they would be able to change every single set in only pvp for 6 months.

Well they are changing every single set in PvP anyhow. How hard could it be to just have the set table join to a new table when you load into Cyrodiil? I don't really have a clue of course, this was just an idea to make this more digestible for the average player.
