Plots for building from scratch on?

Aside from Coldharbour and Moonsugar, are there any other homes with enough ground space suitable for building upon?

Stillwaters Retreat is pretty much a huge open space on top of a frozen lake, with a small cave and room attached.

Frostvault Chasm and Hunter's Glade which I don't think are available for sale at the moment, were also template houses. Then there are houses that include structures, but also have a lot of space outside that you can use, like Earthtear, the Alpine Gallery, the Psijic Villa, Thieves Oasis, Lakemire Xanmeer are a few that come to mind. It depends on how big of a space you need... Springs Demesne in Reaper's March also has a decent courtyard, though for pure building from scratch the template houses are the most suitable. I think the new Shalidor's realm house that will be released soon-ish also has alot of space, though it does have a lot of other structures and landscape features.

Don't forget Lunar Champion. The Halls of Colossus section allows you to build out beyond the balcony.
Also, don't be afraid to block of the house on a plot and build something new.

honestly? almost anything (even some without yards) I could show you a picture of people doing from scratch and ignoring the house. Just ask and I'll see if I can pop a pic up.

Those homes look absolutely incredible, thanks for sharing. I would not even know where to begin to create such beautiful homes. Not even sure they are even possible on console

On console they may not look as nice as PC due to the addon, but you can absolutely do big rebuilds if you so choose. I am on PS4 and my witch's coven cottage is a temple not a cottage.

Yes More homes without homes! I would LOVE more plots of land of all slot sizes. I keep looking and rotating through my homes undecorated and for sale and keep coming up with the same issue- The house is in the way. I would think it would be easy to take an existing piece of land and throw some glass walls around it with a clever entrance, make them 200-600 slot (and make them accessable with coin or achieve.) ESO have given us so many great home construction mats, why not more blank slate slots from each zone? A field here, a cave there, an allyway a valley there, etc, etc, etc.

Wow. I had no idea housing could look so good in ESO. While I have a computer that can easily run eso on full settings I stayed with my series x(i have 5+ years and probably a few grand over the years) but these are awesome. I normally went to Conan exiles to build thinking eso is limited with housing but maybe I just didn't give it a chance. Now if only they'd release Lakemire, I have ideas!

Unfortunately not available right now, but I bought Grand Topal last month solely for the buildable space available over the water (since yo can use it to make lakes/ponds/pools/whatever). The far right edge of the structure in the water bumps up against the buildable area, for reference.

The Psijic Villa is great too- my Psjic Villa has been built out over the water, turned into a cave network. This too bumps up against the buildable area to the left:
