    Yes please!

What would you change, and what kind of stats/description would you put on it?

~There’s a positive in every negative. Sometimes the positive is harder to find than other times, but there is ALWAYS one there~

In the end you wouldn't want it anyway..

It's slow as hell, and in today's game, you'll just be spamming AOE's anyway.
I used to love whip back when I could keep someone off balance, but like anything that is effective "an off balance timer" was added... so then I would use talons or Stonefist or Fossilize.

but then the Stun was taken away from stonefist...

and now Immobilization Immunity is at the point where Fossilize is never available and most of the time they just run through talons...

the damage just doesn't warrant it.. when you can hit Pulsar like 4x in the time it takes for 1 whip

No. Every Stamina-based spammable available in class skill trees is balanced against their Magicka counterparts, and in pretty much every case except for Biting Jabs, gets laughed at and tossed on the trash heap in deference to Dizzying Swing. Taking an option away from Mag DK in order to add a Stamina morph of Whip would most likely result in either yet another dead skill/morph, or something that is overpowered.

    Excuse me, It's #StamWhip

The fact you call it poison whip means your request is immediately disqualified

I would love this, but I think flame lash and molten whip are both good morphs. I would rather stamwhip/poison whip replace a less used skill.

We've been saying it for years:

    WE WANT STAMWHIP!

    What did we get instead?

    Poopfist

Stam DK brethren, we must embark upon a crusade to take us to the holy land of class spammables that aren't poopy. Let 2021 be the year of the STAMWHIP.

Greetings! We've closed this thread due to its non-constructive nature.

Just make class skills have 3 morphs.
That way you can add stamina related morphs to classes that have just a few of these.
That way you dont have to take away from players that enjoy current magicka based whips, and we get #StamWhip

I'd rather have a delayed burst skill comparable to sub assault than a stam whip, but that's just me.

I mean, that's not to say that they can't do both....but realistically neither will happen.

    Idea:
StamWhip - deals X amount of poison damage and adds 1% defile for Y seconds per hit for each class dot on target. Defile is capped at 10%
    Awake, but at what cost

Some skills & passives already have the "this skill is based on your highest resource" type of mechanic built in, and I've often wondered why they don't extend that to other skills that really would benefit from that treatment -- like the DK whip.

Just turn one (or both!) morph(s) green and poisony if the character is specced out with an obvious weapon damage bias. Boom, done. Doesn't seem like it should be such a hard thing to do, honestly. I actually thought they were going to do this in an upcoming patch... back in the Morrowind era. lol

Not sure why everyone thinks magDKs would be forced to lose something for stamDKs to have a small win on this.

That name is so stupid and gross... it fits that terrible skill SO perfectly! haha

I feel like you deserve some kind of award :D

No thanks. Not needed to hand out purges to every class now. Its already sad, that wardens and necroes got one, even though it was the unique thing templars once had.

Just add this to molten whip keeping the whole skill as it is now
If your max Stat is Magick deal x fire damage if your max Stat is Stamina deal y phisical damage and trigger the new bleeding status effect.

you could give the unmorphed version(but not the morphs) the advantages of one of the morphs and make the morph to stamina whip. Why do we need an unmorphed weaker version that everybody morphs as soon as possible? The people who used the morph would use the unmorphed version and won’t have a disadvantage.

Why physical/bleed damage and not poison damage? That way it could interact with Ardent Flame passives better.

    Edit:
    For Reference
Combustion: Increases the damage of your Burning and Poisoned status effects by 50%. When you apply Burning to an enemy, you restore 500 Magicka. When you apply Poisoned to an enemy, you restore 500 Stamina.
World In Ruin: Increases the damage of your Flame area of effect abilities by 6%. Decreases the cost of your Stamina Poison abilities by 25%.

Would be great if the tooltip is like 1500 poison damage (slightly lower then dizzy swing), if you cast other poison abilities can get up to 3 stacks for a new effect that set the enemy off-balance and deal X Poison Damage over time for 10 seconds on top of the 1500 tooltip poison damage consuming the 3 stacks.

And yeah can be buffed by sets like witch-knight etc.

The other morph is molten whip.
Every skill should have a stam and mag counterpart.
