Proc Sorc in Heavy Armor?

May Stendarr forgive me, but I was trying to build a proc magsorc. Chief reason being ... roleplay.
Sorcerers in The Elder Scrolls have usually been defined by their heavy armor, use of summons and magical artifacts and enchantments.

Morrowind: Though spellcasters by vocation, sorcerers rely most on summonings and enchantments. They are greedy for magic scrolls, rings, armor and weapons, and commanding undead and Daedric servants gratifies their egos.
Oblivion: Besting the most well-equipped fighters, they rely on the spells of the mystic arts. Unique to these mages is the bodily stamina to be armed with the thickest armor.

If you've been playing magsorc in PvP at any point in ESO's lifetime, you'll realize that this doesn't really translate into the game. You are mostly a shield-spamming, teleporting, robed Mage (an entirely different class).

So, considering running heavy armor and relying on (magical) procs is kind of the meta, I thought now might be the time to build a proper TES Sorcerer. However, curiously, Sorcerers might be the only class (beside NBs possibly?) that I have not seen run much on the side of proc sets. Even when they use Caluurions, it does not alter much of their playstyle.

So I was wondering, how would you go around building a durable, heavy-armored Sorcerer that relies mostly on items for damage?

My initial thoughts were:
Malacath (of course)
Blackrose Prison Inferno Staff, Infused + Shock Enchant
Vateshran Inferno Staff, Infused + Fire/Crusher/Dmg Enchant
Maw of the Infernal/Balorgh
2x Trainee
5x Torug's Pact

Unsure about skills. I'd sacrifice most of Sorcerer's burst damage wtih a setup like this, and I'm not sure I have the staying power for drawn out fights without heals from crit surge or a resto staff. Clannfear or Matriarch are a must have for the 8%HP and heal, as is Hardened Ward, but otherwise I'm clueless. Bound Aegis might be good for Minor Resolve.
Overall, Sustain could become a problem, which I could correct with an appropriate Mundus - although I'd love the Lover because I lose out on penetration without Sharpened or Light Armor.

I don't think it will be a no-brainer like other classes, but does anyone have experience with this or general ideas?
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.

    My 2 cents:

    - Drop Blackrose inferno, the dot is meh and you do not really want to cast impulse anyway.
    - Consider spell dmg enchant and curse skill on your backbar for some burst potential. I pairs nicely with Torugs.
    - Consider triple regen glyphs on jewelery for staying power with speed trait
    - If you want to run heavy, I would go with eternal vigor with well fitter for ultimate cancer.
    - For mundus, I would consider steed.
    - Bewitched sugar skills as food
    - 1 piece Skoria (if you can fit it in)

Now you have it all. Dmg from procs, survivability from HA, shitloads of health regen (food, mundus, eternal vigor, glyphs), maneuverability from high stam pool and dodge cost reduction and move speed.
