Tallest furnishing item - alternative to time worn columns?

Is there any alternative to using 3 time worn Alinor columns stacked on top of each other so as to lower the item count and housing slots used?

Like, 3 Alinor Windmills stacked on top of each other maybe?:wink::sweat_smile:

Depends what you're looking for. Are you just looking for the tallest item, or are you building a specific structure? Does it have to be a column? Some platforms reach higher than columns if you flip them perpendicularly to the ground.

    Thanks for the reply :)

They're for my freestanding custom structure on top of the cliffs at the back of the Antiquarian Alpine Gallery:

That's just the lower half and 1st floor - I haven't looked into using platforms as vertical supports but I briefly considered there might be some giant trees that would be tall enough but it would look too weird lol.

OOooooooh :hushed: I see! Yeah columns would probably be best there.

I thought you were already using the Large Timeworn Alinor Columns (which I thought were the largest there is), but you're using the Slender ones (I checked btw, and the Redguard Pillar is taller than the Large Alinor so my guess was a bit off, hah ). But here you go!

    1. Alinor Column, Huge Timeworn: Crowns only in the Housing Editor
    2. Elsweyr Pillar, Rough Wooden: Home Goods vendor in Rimmen and Senchal (only 100g!!!)
    3. Alinor Column, Slender Timeworn: you already know this one, craftable.
    4. Post, Barnacle Covered: Home Goods vendor in Rawl'kha (only 100g, but uglier than the rest)
    5. Redguard Pillar, Tiered: Crowns only in the Housing Editor
Nice build idea btw, to make use of the backyard space! Hope this helps, and I hope it works out the way you want it!

Thanks for the comparison info :) I actually found this: https://eso.mmo-fashion.com/?s=column, checked in game and bought a few that are only available in the crown store and the columns I used were the Alinor Column, Timeworn.

From left to right they are: Alinor Column, Timeworn, Alinor Column, Slender Timeworn, Alinor Column, Huge Timeworn, Redguard Pillar, Tiered, Elsweyr Column, Stone Support and Imperial Pillar, Straight.

So I ended up replacing 8 Alinor Column, Timeworn with 4 Alinor Column, Huge Timeworn which is great because the house items slot is only 600 and I'm struggling to finish & decorate it and already removed the stairway I originally had leading up to the house.

I might replace more but it sucks that I can only buy the Alinor Column, Huge Timeworn in the crown store and not craft them myself.
    Thanks for the reply :)

    Thanks it has been :)

I've made it an open house via Essential Housing Hub/Tools (ran out of slots so quickly :( ) - it's not my primary residence.

I changed it to my primary residence so anyone can visit it (though it looks heaps better with EHT effects enabled).

I'm going to move it at some point in the future to Coldharbour Surreal Estate so I can use the extra 100 slots to finish furnishing it properly :)
