The state of the campaigns

DylanCb16_ESO
I consider myself more of a casual PvP player, but the state it is currently in is quiet saddening to me. I'm playing a DC Dragonknight and participate in the Bloodthorn EU campaign. For several days now, we've been holding all the scrolls, and most of the castles. Which is a bad thing. It takes away all fun. I ran with a big Zerg that outnumbered all enemy players by... at least 3 : 1. Our leading player has a 600 000 point lead, I'm pretty sure he's exploiting somehow, and am very disgusted by this. Out of the top 20 people, 17 are from Daggerfall.

How are the other EU campaigns looking? Anywhere a decent balance inbetween the alliances? Some campaigns free from exploiting lowlifes? Anyone else having the same experiences?

The Campaign I am in is awesome! It keeps going back and forth. One day EP will have map control, the next day us AD will have taken back ground...Then out of no where DC comes in and wrecks us both lol.

You just gotta find the right campaign. I would suggest going into guest mode and playing a half hour or so on each one to kinda get a feel.

Yeah, that's the kind of campaign I'd like them all to be. Currently AD has a 10 000 point lead, but that was 12 000 yesterday. I mean, I'm looking forward to the reward, but I like fair play and a challange, so this really isn't very fun. I conquered several keeps yesterday without throwing a single blow. Just went with the blue tide. Boring as hell.

Hi there.... I am not exploiting or cheating... I got all my points with legit PvP.... All you need are two weeks of vacation...

I got the first 800 000 points with solo PvP... Now I am doing PvP with 20 other boys and girls and we are crushing the big yellow and red zergs. That is the reason why we have 17 blues in the top 20 of Bloodthorn EU...

All you need are 20 organized people that spam aoe abilities in the 150 people zergs... 300 000 points in 5 hours... No exploiting or cheating... 150 People should not clumb at a farm flag ;-)

    Regards,
    BNG

You are still ruining the game, thank you very much. And by that I don't mean you personally, but people with your attitude. Enough people in all the campaigns make their points fair and square, with skill and organized groups. But you said it yourself, apparantly you don't need skill to prevail in this game. Just sad.

he is ruining the game for you because he makes more points than you? sounds reasonable.

Becoming Emperor is not a goal the average player should set themselves. The people that can dedicate the most time to playing will be the top players in the leader boards across all servers. The Emperor title will never be earned by the majority of the player base and it was designed that way on purpose.

Let's put it in perspective for you. There are 20 campaigns total if you count EU and NA together. If you got into the top 50 players on a campaign for your faction then you are in the top 1,000 players globally for that faction. The difference in points from the top 1 spot to the 50th spot is very drastic... meaning a lot of the top 50 players really don't have a chance at Emperor either and they are part of that top 1,000 players. It's time to set some realistic goals if that is your issue in my opinion.

Yay! I'm DC in that campaign...
For several days now, we've been holding all the scrolls, and most of the castles.

That's news to me... I'm pretty sure I've logged in with all DC scrolls missing in the past week... (I distinctly remember logging in to siege our own gate fort, with players scared that the AD would bring their giant zerg back).

Given that Bloodthorn typically has a population of locked/locked/locked, that's a strange situation.
