Troubles with Shield Assault

My shield assault seems to be working differently than a month or so ago. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. In PVP when I try to use it on a player it will go off once in a while. Mostly the first one works then I can dance around for 30 sec and it will not go off. I can see I have over 10k stam and it is greyed out no matter how close I get the to enemy. I tried to remove all the addons but it still is not working like I expect. Anyone know what I may be doing wrong or are any others seeing this same junk. I was wondering it the testing over the last 6 months led to a change but can't find a writeup or missed seeing it.

I use invasion and havent noticed any difference, what platform are you on?

Is this near LoS objects? Positioning is off, and where you see your opponent isnt usually where they are. Maybe this is what you're experiencing

Hi, I am on PC and in Greyhost. I tried to be careful and be on target many times (been playing since 2015). Tonight it worked almost all the time! Earlier today I was alone on a resource with a low pop and it never worked. My testing includes scanning over targets to see if it lights up while scanning. When it is malfunctioning it does not light up as I cross a target. In game folk tell me it is just the game being screwy and to move on. At this point I think this is a problem for me not most peep. It is something on my end but can't figure out what to uninstall/reinstall other than the game. Maybe that's the task for tonight.

I have the same issue with toppling charge. Doesn't seem like it has anything to do with lag.

my problem with this spell was triggered from the Blackrose Arena set. After i successfully use Invasion, if i don't have stamina for another shield ability, it won't cast it, even tho it's supposed to be free of cost. If however i have stamina to cast that ability, it will cast it without taking stamina for it. So even tho the spell should be free, i must first have the stamina for the spell before it is cast for free.
