Light Armour has been dead since Greymoor. Wear Heavy and Malacath ring.

    More survivability and more damage.

They need to further adjust damage to mitigation on heavy if that's the case.

This does not match my experience as to how the Greymoor patch and subsequent patches actually turned out. Again, if you're talking about no CP, my apologies. I know little about it. However you can't ignore CP either. Malacath is basically a non-factor. Specifically Malacath plus heavy armor underperformed vs my light armor setup on my magplar, both in terms of damage and perceived tankiness. Neither is heavy armor the meta for stamina damage builds. Heavy was good when we could not transmute jewelry and sets like Fury were meta. These days medium armor is IMO equal or better in CP.

I have mained my stam warden this campaing (cp) and it is so good. I wear heavy armor and pale order ring when i'm solo and go for medium damage focused when in a group, with the malacath ring sometimes. And i gotta say, i don't notice that much difference in the damage i do. It is almost as if there is no downside to wearing heavy armor but i do seem to survive better. I use crimson and eternal vigor. Tho i have run into situations where like me and one or two enemies fight for 10 mins and no one wins. Then we just stop and wave and ride away. This is the first time i have had a char that is so tanky and damagy, but when encountered a similar build, there are no winners. Boring? Maybe ye

To be honest I always forget about CP PvP. I only do BGs and noCP Cyro.

I hear you. I play magblade not much better, i dont know if i could rant more about how crap magblade is or how dumb i am for still playing this game. Everybody knows these 2 classes are crap for at least a year now and nothing changes. You see 1 magcro and 1 magblade for 30 wardens or any other stam class. Nobody plays them so zos just brushes that under the rug. I guess this is the best its gonna get right zos?

    Conform to the meta. Obey.

Heavy armour, higher hp and malacth with what ever is definitely the way to go this patch unless your on a mag sorc.. probs get away with light 1v1 but open world good luck surviving, as only takes one person to catch you off guard in the mist of battle and its gg. Heavy and hp allows for a recovery

Playing your flavour isn't dumb. Playing magblade and magcro is dedication.

    Kudos to you.
