Honestly, I'm not much of a drama queen, but after having invested thousands of hours in ESO, I want better for this game.
3/3 random dungeons have crashed my computer so hard I'm now getting intermittent boot errors with no post, even with Addons off.
I'm sorry to leave so many of my friends, but I can't continue to invest my money in a product that doesn't function.
GLHF, however you spend your time.

It's BRUTAL.

Cyberwolffe✭✭✭I was running my daily dungeon for the Undaunted event on the EU server and got disconnected just before the final boss died. By the time I was able to get reconnected I just barely had time to get to the boss and loot my event tickets. Unfortunately, I had full bags and before I could destroy something in my bags to make room for my gold box, I was removed from the dungeon. So I guess I missed out on some rewards, but at least I got the daily tickets.4 -

What the ever-loving hell. ZOS, you even said on your twitter that people should not run this one because of the crashes. Why not remove it from the random dungeon finder? ✭Many people come to the forums when they crash, and post in their frustrations.

Auberon1983✭✭✭✭My wife bought myself and her FFXIV for my birthday a couple days ago. PS4 for me, and one for her gaming PC. This was my very first foray into MMO's (ESO that is). We've wanted a game to play together, and FFXIV has cross-play.
I'm very torn about what to do with ESO. I'm an officer in three guilds, including "second in command" in one of them. The community here is amazing, honestly. Great friends and great memories. But man, this game is unplayable for me. Hard crash fighting Hordrek 30 minutes ago, and crashed a few minutes ago just standing still by a Wayshrine. ESO + lapses in about 30+ days. I dunno, I don't want to leave my friends in the lurch, but the constant crashing and freezing are just too much.1 -

Yes, they changed something in the reach update to improve performance but it made the game very unstable.Performance year
Performance != stability, more often they are opposite like how very high performance engines are unreliable.
Luckily it looks like my issues on PC-EU has gone down, it might be nvidia update or server changes.
Might also be luck and people avoiding problem dungeons.
But 2 weeks ago we had multiple crashes in vAA but last week we did it twice and no issues.Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.1 -

✭✭I'm used to get the spam boot from server for standing or logging in, that's just fine.
Now I get a nice variety of crashes, disconnects and freezes for doing delves, dungeons and Cyro.
Haven't got an inhouse crash so far, but since it was mentioned here, there is nothing left to do that is stable, maybe doing writs?

pajdomanSoul ShrivenEven tho im playing on older generation PC i do get crashes always after some updates. Before Markarth DLC i didnt had any crash after i had many but it settled down a bit. Now? I do get them always in dungeons...0

aussie500✭✭✭While we might have in the past had crash problems, they seem to have outdone any previous woes this time. I crash at least once a day changing characters, that is normal, I am used to it. Many of us crash doing vet trials, it is reaching the point we no longer want to do a vet trial we spend that much time waiting for people to get back into the game. Then often enough the game will be glitchy in other ways to make you give up and do it on normal, or just give up playing ESO for the rest of the day.
They started the event knowing some of those pledge dungeons could not be finished, soon as a lych boss starts their light show you are going to be doomed, even with no addons you will crash, be thrown back to the desktop or have to close the game from the task manager, because the whole thing has frozen. All 4 will perish to a ZOS bug!
I crashed in Fungal Grotto yesterday doing a heavy attack with a lightening staff, I was solo so no other players in there. Loading screens it will crash, I crashed in Cyrodiil just picking a plant, no one was anywhere near me. They are going to try to fix a few things while the server is down this time, but I am not holding my breath waiting for a miracle. I will give Wayrest Sewers II a go in the morning, see how they went fixing that one.0 -
