Override Vampire Noble Costume Gloves?

Even though my character is NOT a vampire I liked the look of the Vampire Noble costume in the crown store so I bought it.
As I am an ESO plus subscriber I changed the colours and matched it with a hat.
The only thing I am unhappy with are the gloves/claws as I want to show my character's hands instead. They seem totally out of place on a non-vampire character.
I have tried everything I can think of to override the costume gloves but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone know a solution?
If I cannot override the claws I will have to make do with the Noble Suit costume but I much think the Vampire Noble is much smarter.

Costumes cover the entire body so no, you cannot combine a costume with other gloves. The only option is to apply a different hat on a costume.

Thanks for the info. At least it was not me doing something wrong.

I am now using the Noble Suit costume with the colours changed.
The only problem is that I think that my character looks like a country bumpkin all dressed up to go to a fancy party. Something is just not right.

PS: I think part of it may be the medallion (which I cannot change).
