Topic says it all.
I tryed to collect every Skyshard in Cyrodiil and came a cross to a deadend.
How can i get those 4 Skyshards which is located near each of the Foreign dominions temple ?
You cant get across Mountain. There is some places where you could think you can get across, but there is invisible wall blocking the way..
So the only way to get across is thru Gates (Gates of Alma Ruma for example).
But you cant use them and getiing ass wiped as soon as you get close.

Can those gates be sieged and captured in order to make your dominion pass thru to get those Skyshards and capture enemys Scrolls ?

Erm, I believe you're referring to the gates that protect the enemy alliance's scrolls.

Ok. I should've elaborated. They open when that alliance does not own the respective keeps for those gates.

The only way to get behind those gates is if an enemy force has taken the nearby keep, and then you have to follow the zerg in to get the Scroll. Theoretically you could even do it if the other enemy alliance is doing the attack, you just have to stay out of sight and go through the gate after they've already cleared out the NPCs. But many of their players will also be going after those skyshards, so you'll have to get behind the gate and get out of the way of the other faction's pillaging. So yeah, its way easier if its your own faction on the offensive.

You actually don't need to follow in other players to do it. I grabbed all four behind enemy lines one day on scourge (when it was still in AD's favor) and all I did was stealthed until the npcs at the gate saw me then sprinted like a bat out of hell until I was out of range of them. After that I just went back into stealth (sneak) and grabbed the skyshards.

Ehm what ? Those gates are CLOSED. One canot simply walk into enemy territory.
I belive that some alliance have to destroy nearby keep first.

This is generally implied if you read the posts from other players above.

You can get them but the keep protecting the gate has to be controlled by an opposing faction. If the npc's are still up you simply sneak up till they see you, when the eye begins to open, then sprint like mad. The other way is to simply sprint up and once they see you hit shadowy disguise, night blade skill, and spam it till you are through. These shards are designed as a side reward to being around when the gate is opened and the scroll can be fought for. The invisible wall is to stop people from getting behind the gate without controlling the keep first. In beta Zergs were jumping over the mountains and bypassing the gate entirely to gain the bonus of the scroll without doing the work.
