If your planning to be a tank, you need to go heavy or mostly heavy. You can add some light and medium armor for the magic and stamina gains since you will likely be using a lot for blocking and magic spells. Just be sure you have at least 5 pieces of heavy armor so you can get full gains from your passives, as it really helps. I personally like to have a full set of heavy armor, but that's just my preference.

Thanks for reply, is it best to go with templar or DK?

I've never played a Templar, but if you want to go for a healing tank, I would say that's the way to go. The DK is more of a fire mage. He will take damage, but at the same time he will also dish it out.

I've no need for healing so DK is looking like the best bet.

Everytime i see the DK i can't stop thinking DeathKnight damn you WOW :)

dk with green dragonblood beats templar self healing in both mana efficiency and sustain.
An orc marrying a wood elf?! Enjoy your Borsimer mutants!

Just dump all stat points into magicka until cap, then drop points into health.
Wear 5 heavy 2 light for mana regen, use mostly class abilities and you will be fine.
