I'm a DK level 25 right now I'm a light armor fire mage but I get killed a lot thinking of going maybe 1h and shield and bow with heavy armor anyone know whichever would work better in pvp

Every armor and weapons is good for its purpose and if you die alot since you're using light armor you should concidering using CCs to prevent mobs from approaching you or altogether kiting mobs abit. One thing I recommend as a fellow light armor user is put all attributes into health because you sorely need it for obvious reasons. Heavy armor in PvP would defenetly make you last longer but you'd run out of magicka really fast if you plan on staying a mage. What I think is the best for you to do is experiment, throw around you gear and skills abit see what you like and what fits your playstyle, that is the beauty of ESO.
Think before you act. There are always consequenses to your actions eventhough you may not notice them

I would go with a hybrid of armor, and invest some in both. While you wouldn't have perfect values from either armor's passives, the small bonuses you could get from a few pieces of heavy armor may be exactly what you need. I personally use medium/heavy mix (dual-wield/bow sorcerer, long story) to try to get a balanced boost to protection, health regen, and critical chance.

Sensible build? No. Hilariously fun build? Yup!
