Do you gather on every toon you have?

i want to play 3 4 characters but am unsure i want to spend my time gathering on every one. seems like once you get into the zone of gathering it ends up all i do. i made r ule for myself only gather on the way to questing but it still happens.

can i one toon be enough to supply for writs on 3 4 characters?

One toon can be enough, @Darkspecialist, as long as you spend enough gathering time to get the mats you need for all the writs you’re doing.

There is also the option of buying mats at the guild stores ... to backfill any areas that might be incomplete or “tough to find” items needed by writs.
