Love the vet players in pvp

ddejonghprb19_ESO
I must say i love most Veterans that run in pvp.

Most...i mean 90% have absolutly no idea what they are doing in there hahaha.
We run with two and sometimes 4 guildies....highest lvl is 30....lowest is 11.

We jump any player...and i mean any player that we meet up with. In the begining we was like...ooh lord look. a lvl 50 vet 3.
In DAoC you would dream of attacking a player thats lvl 50 and you was like 20 lvls lower.
But in here....

The second we open....90% of the vets do one thing....RUN LIKE HELL hahaha.
We kill them by the tons.

Lower lvls try and fight. But the fast lvling vets dont hahahaha

we know some of the vets that do now...those we respect and dont dare attacking....but thats like 10 or so.
The rest....

It shows how pve minded these players are....have no idea how to handle their toons in pvp...and panic at first strike.

If you die...at least fight.
Dont run like a coward.

Keep speed leveling ;)

    Dont run like a coward.

Doesn't that stir the predatory bloodlust in people though?

Everyone is still learning how to pvp in this game. This is the first truly fair pvp that I have played as compared to others where gear and builds is more important. Here its about player skill and more importantly, teamwork. Most still hold on to the distaste of other games pvp styles. I used to hate pvp, until I tried this game, now I love it! A lower level player actually has a real chance of going toe to toe with a higher level player. It's pretty nice.
If I am going to quote someone, it's going to be me.

Some people prefer to max level in pve first before learning the ropes of pvp, I meant to add. Don't discount them because they might just get better than you.

this game is hardly playerskill based :pensive:

theres alot of broken stuff that ppl are currently abusing to get kills. pls dont fool urself into thinking a game without long duration aoe CC, a hard-interupt system (means each time u take dmg from whatever source your current spell will be interupted and leave u with an atleast 3secs timer till u can cast again) where every char has max 12 different skills at a time can ever be truely playerskill based unless u bring something actually skillbased into the fray. like real fps aim f.e.

while it is fun atm the pvp in this game hardly requires any skill at all. the only thing that is somewhat skill based is melee combat but the huge amount of stuns/immobilizes/knockdowns/knockbacks/disorients make sure bads can have some success here aswell. if u wanna see what truely playerskill based combat looks like, try DAoC or Darkfall. both very different from each other yet by far the 2 most skill dependent mmos that were ever made.
